This privacy policy describes what information is collected and how it is processed when you use Link Manager - Bookmarks (package name: com.linkmanager.app, the "app"). The app does not require an account, and your bookmarks are stored only on your device.
Links, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, folders, and tags you save are stored only on your device. The developer has no server that receives or stores your bookmarks.
When you open the app, it checks the clipboard only while the app is on screen to detect a copied web link, and asks whether to save it (or saves it automatically if you turned that option on). Only web addresses are used; other clipboard content is ignored and never stored or sent anywhere. You can turn clipboard detection off in Settings.
Backup and export files are written only to a location you choose (for example your device storage or a cloud drive app you pick). Import reads only the file you select. The developer never receives these files.
The app shows ads via Google AdMob. Users in regions where consent is required are asked for consent through Google's consent form. To serve and measure ads, the advertising provider may automatically collect:
The app also uses Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase to collect crash reports and anonymous usage statistics that help fix bugs. These do not include your bookmarks.
You can reset your advertising ID or limit personalized ads in your device settings, and change your consent choice in the app's Settings.
If you send feedback from Settings, the message you write, any screenshots you attach, the app version, and an app-generated device identifier are sent to the developer's server so we can reply and fix issues. Nothing is sent unless you submit feedback.
All bookmarks and settings are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Feedback messages are kept only as long as needed to handle them; you can ask for deletion by email.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
